GOLF RULES

GOLF RULES

The aim of the game:

The aim of the game is to complete all the holes, the person with the lowest score wins.

How to play Crazy Golf:

Simply start by placing your ball on the green at the start of the hole. Take turns by putting the ball (using the golf club) towards the hole, count how many shots it takes you until you sink the ball in the hole. Record how many shots it takes to sink the ball in the hole on the scorecard. At the end of the game add up the scores.

Crazy Golf Rules:

Maximum of 4 players in a group on any one hole

  • All holes must be played in the correct order. Hole jumping is not permitted

  • When putting do not swing the putter higher than knee height

  • One meter distance must be maintained between players during putting

  • There is a 10 shot limit per hole, once you get to 10 shots, move on to the next hole

  • If the ball exits the course it must be replaced where it left with a 1 stroke penalty

  • If the ball ends up against an edge or obstacle it may be moved one club head length out

  • Many of our holes contain structures and moving parts such as the windmill, the church, the bridges and the cake.  Do not touch or stand on any of these structures and please ensure that children are kept under supervision as this may result in personal injury and or damage to the course of which the player or parent/guardian is responsible for

  • Players are only allowed to stand on the teeing off grass and on the grass adjacent to the holes. Do not walk on any other part of the course

  • This mobile mini golf is a game of putting and all players, particularly children should refrain from hitting the ball excessively hard, thereby causing a hazard to themselves and other people

  • Hitched and Pitched reserves the right to remove clubs and balls from any player behaving unacceptably and request that they leave the site

  • Security & Child Supervision - Children always remain the responsibility of the adults who accompany them

  • Damage, Loss & Injury - Hitched and Pitched do not accept liability due to damage, loss or injury whilst playing the mobile adventure course, you play at your own risk, and by playing the course you agree to and accept the aforementioned rules.

GROUND & ACCESS REQUIREMENTS

Mobile crazy golf ground requirements is one of the most important factors when booking our crazy golf course for your event. The location has to be flat and horizontal so that we can set up the course on it. If the setup location is too sloped or uneven then the balls will simply roll off the course! More importantly if the ground is too uneven we would not be able to set up the course from a Health and Safety point of view.

From lawn/short grass (recently mown) and concrete courtyards through to carpet and wooden floorboards. We always carry shims to make minor adjustment to level out each of the mini golf holes.
None of the course holes require ground pegs or staking out. With that in mind, there’s no need to worry about us making holes in the manicured lawn.
Vehicle Access to the setup location

We must be able to get the van close to the setup location (indoors or outdoors) so as we can unload and carry/skate the course to the required location. If we can’t get the van close to the setup location, additional venue setup costs may be incurred. You must tell us in advance whether there are steps (or a lift) involved as this may also affect the setup time and costs.
